DIY Silver necklace with rhinestones - náhrdelník s kryšlátikmi

I bought few years ago golden necklaces from eBay. At that time it was a hit to have collar necklace and they were literally everywhere. I did not want to throw it away and looked thru Pinterest and got a ton of inspiration for making these.:-)

I like silver more than gold, but if you are more of a goldie girl you can substitute the silver spray paint for gold one. Everything I used I already have at home.:-) So no more expenses for me.

I used old necklace, spray paint, small rhinestones 4 mm diameter of different colors and nylon thread with needle.

At first I prepared the necklace for painting. I used rubbing alcohol (you can use nail polish remover or anything that would remove oiliness from necklace). I painted the necklace - front, back and also the chain, then I waited 2 hours and painted second layer and let dry for 24 hours. I sew on the rhinestones to the necklace.

I used orange bicones and dark blue ones. It gives the necklace nice spark. The other color combination - reds, oranges, yellows. More like sun sinking down - twilight on the mountains.

Pred pár rokmi som si cez eBay kúpila zlaté náhrdelníky. V tej dobe boli límčekové náhrdelníky veľmi populárne a boli doslova všade. Nechcela som ich vyhodiť a tak som prebrázdila Pinterest pre trocha inšpirácie.:-)

Osobne sa mi páči strieborná viac ako zlatá, ale ak ste viac "do zlata" nápadom a farebným kombináciám sa medze nekladú. Všetko čo som pri výrobe týchto náhrdelníkov použila som už doma mala, takže som nič naviac minúť nemusela.;-)

Použila som staré náhrdelníky, striebornú farbu v spreji, malé rôznofarebné sklenené gorálky kosoštvorcové o priemere 4 mm a nylonovú nitku s ihlou.

Najskôr som si pripravila náhrdelníky pre farbenie. Odmastila som ich alkoholom, ale môžete použiť aj odlakovač, proste čokoľvek čo odmasťuje. Pripravený náhrdelník som nafarbila a nechala zaschnúť cca 2 hodiny. Po nastriekaní druhej vrstvy, farba schla cca 24 hod. Korálky som prišila k náhrdelníku.

Na prvý náhrdelník som použila oranžové a tmavomodré sklenené korálky. Dodalo to náhrdelníku veľmi peknú iskru. Druhý má kombináciu farieb ako pri súmraku nad horami - oranžové, červené a žlté.
